Getting around Antalya

From the airport to your hotel, from Kaleiçi to Konyaaltı, from Kemer to Side: how to get around Antalya. Türkçe

In short: From Antalya Airport you can reach the city by the T1A tram line, buses 400, 600 and 800, taxi or private transfer. Within the city, trams and buses run on a card system; for resort areas such as Kemer, Belek and Side a private transfer, shuttle or rental car is more practical. On IONETO you request a private transfer and the provider replies directly.

From the airport to the city

Without heavy luggage, the T1A tram line links the airport with the city centre; the stop is opposite the Domestic and International Terminal 1 and does not serve International Terminal 2. Bus 600 runs to the bus station, bus 800 to Lara and bus 400 to Konyaaltı. Arriving at night, with heavy bags or with children, a private transfer is easiest; see the airport transfer page.

Trams and buses in the city

Tram lines form a fast spine between the centre, Konyaaltı and the bus station, and buses fan out into the neighbourhoods. Pay with an Antalyakart or a contactless bank card. Lines and fares change, so check the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality for current information.

Getting to the resort areas

Kemer, Belek, Side and Alanya are far from the centre. A private transfer straight from the airport or your hotel's shuttle saves time. For day trips, tour packages with hotel pick-up or a rental car are more practical.

Car hire and taxis

If you want to explore scattered places like Olympos, Kaş or the ancient cities at your own pace, renting a car makes sense. Taxis run 24/7 at the airport and in the city; fixed fares may apply from the airport to some areas, so ask before you get in.
