Training starts on the ground
The first part covers the controller, pre-flight checks, batteries and weather. Take-off and landing are repeated in a safe, open area until they become routine.
Flying on the coast
Practice flights take place in open areas away from people, with the drone always in the pilot's line of sight. No flying near airports, military sites or other restricted zones.
Filming and editing
The last part reviews your footage together: composition, movement and a short edit. For many people this is the most enjoyable part.
Rules and permits
In Turkey, drones over 500 g must be registered on the SHGM drone registration system, and commercial use needs extra documents. Rules can change, so check SHGM for the current position; the instructor walks you through the steps.
